Zapier Integration Architect Needed for SaaS Product

We are seeking a skilled Zapier Integration Architect to design and implement Zapier integrations for our SaaS product. The ideal candidate will have experience with embedded Zapier solutions, API design, and navigating app approval processes. You will work closely with our development team to streamline integration efforts and enhance our product's functionality. Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for optimizing workflows are essential. Zapier Integration Strategy • Advise on the best way to integrate Zapier with our product • Ensure we’re building something scalable, secure, and aligned with Zapier best practices 2. Embedded Zapier Feasibility • Help determine whether Zapier can be fully embedded in our app • Clarify whether customers must have their own Zapier accounts, or if alternatives (like Zapier’s Embedded UI) are viable • Outline technical and product tradeoffs clearly 3. API & Backend Collaboration • Work directly with our internal developer • Review and advise on API design (auth, triggers, actions, webhooks, pagination, rate limits, etc.) • Make sure we’re developing APIs in a Zapier-friendly way before we lock anything in 4. Zapier App Approval Process • Own or guide the process to get Cogs’z approved as a public Zapier app • Help prepare required documentation, testing, and compliance items • Ensure we meet Zapier’s technical and product standards Requirements • 5+ years of experience in backend, platform, or integration-focused engineering roles • Proven experience building Zapier apps using the Zapier Platform (CLI and/or UI) • Strong understanding of: • OAuth & API authentication • Triggers, actions, searches, and webhooks • Zapier rate limits and performance considerations • Prior experience navigating the Zapier app review and approval process • Comfortable collaborating closely with in-house engineering teams • Experience with embedded Zapier implementations • Experience taking Zapier apps from private → public Background working with B2B SaaS products at scale Apply tot his job
