Position Overview The Worship Leader at Legacy Church is a high-trust leadership role responsible for helping shape the spiritual and musical direction of our worship culture. This position co-leads alongside our current Worship Leader, sharing responsibility for planning, leading, and developing worship teams and worship experiences. This role is ideal for a skilled musician, thoughtful leader, and spiritually grounded worship leader—someone who understands both musical excellence and leadership. Primary Responsibilities • Co-lead Sunday Worship Experiences alongside the current Worship Leader. • Help plan and prepare worship sets that align with sermon direction, church rhythms, and the Holy Spirit’s leading. • Lead worship vocally and instrumentally (instrument proficiency required). • Oversee and develop aspects of the worship ministry, including team culture, musical excellence, and spiritual health. • Participate in midweek evening rehearsals, Sunday Experiences, and midweek staff or ministry meetings. • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing worship team members and volunteers. • Collaborate with the Technical Director and Creative Team to ensure seamless, distraction-free worship environments. • Help steward a worship culture marked by humility, unity, excellence, and spiritual depth. Qualifications & Skills • Strong understanding of music theory (required). • Ability to play at least one primary instrument and lead vocally. • Experience leading worship in a church or ministry context. • Demonstrated leadership ability—both on stage and behind the scenes. • Comfortable co-leading and collaborating in a shared leadership model. • Organized, dependable, and able to manage time well in a part-time role. Time Commitments & Availability • Weekly Sunday Experiences. • Weekly midweek evening rehearsals. • Midweek staff or leadership meetings, as scheduled. • Participation in Legacy Church Worship Nights, special events, and church-wide gatherings throughout the year. • Availability for key church events and ministry moments, as determined by church leadership.
