A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.<br><br><strong>Position Summary:<br><br></strong>We're searching for a Treasury Relationship Manager responsible for a diversified portfolio composed mainly of Large Corporate and Mid-Corporate Japanese Corporate clients. You will need to consult with highly complex clients and prospects, as well as internal coverage partners, on industry best practices related to core treasury and liquidity-related products as well as working capital solutions.<br><br><strong>Major Responsibilities:<br><br></strong>80% Business Development & Relationship/Account Management<br><br><ul><li> Cultivate new business opportunities by building close working relationships with Banking partners</li><li> Leverage MUFG’s credit position and overall global banking relationship to identify cross-sell opportunities</li><li> Execute specific management-driven strategies to enhance revenue and meet financial goals</li><li> Maintain working knowledge of the Payments industry, including evolving developments such as stable coin and tokenized deposits</li><li> Analyze complex treasury arrangements, from which you will create proposals and pricing models.</li><li> Perform routine pipeline management and sales tracking</li><li> Recommend pricing and process exceptions at Large Deal Review committee</li><li> Monitor and update company profiles to ensure adequate recordkeeping of bank relationships.</li><li> Work with Product Management partners to enhance our current product set.</li><li> Maintain excellent working relationships with internal constituents in Risk, Product, Operations, and Legal</li><li> Support new and existing clients along the functional continuum of initial onboarding through daily servicing and implementation<br><br></li></ul>20% Risk Management<br><br><ul><li> Adhere to all bank policies for Regulatory Compliance such as the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and Anti-Money Laundering Act, among others.</li><li> Complete all required corporate and business line Compliance Trainings on time.</li><li> Know client relationships deeply enough to identify potential suspicious activity.</li><li> Escalate risk-related issues quickly and as appropriate.<br><br></li></ul><strong>The right candidate will have:<br><br></strong><ul><li> 7-10 years’ experience in sales and relationship management, preferably at a well-known cash management provider either foreign or domestic</li><li> Knowledge of advanced sales and marketing techniques, bank lending policies and practices, payment operations and services, and Federal and State banking regulations</li><li> Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) accreditation a plus, but not required</li><li> Japanese language skills a plus, but not required</li><li> Strong knowledge of treasury management concepts and principles and ability to bring thought-leadership to the portfolio</li><li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to close deals.</li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li> Flexibility to travel locally and regionally to client offices and conferences as required</li><li> Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus<br><br></li></ul>The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
