VP, Identity and Access Management

Job Description: • Develop and drive the company’s IAM vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of IAM solutions, including identity lifecycle management and privileged access. • Establish and enforce IAM governance frameworks, policies, and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, GDPR). • Evaluate and integrate IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity). • Ensure proper role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege principles across enterprise systems. • Lead IAM operations, including provisioning, access reviews, and incident response for identity-related events. • Build and mentor a high-performing IAM team, fostering innovation and continuous learning. • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate IAM into enterprise workflows and partner ecosystems. • Define and track IAM performance metrics, reporting on identity security posture and compliance. • Stay abreast of IAM advancements, Zero Trust, and AI-driven identity solutions for future Improvements. Requirements: • 15 Years+ of relevant work experience • >10 to 15 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees • Master’s / Postgraduate degree required in the field of Cybersecurity. • Recent experience working for large, complex global organizations (10,000+ employees). • Expert in Engineering Solutions for Corporate and Customer Environments and Requirements. • Experience with managing a follow the sun model organization. • Experienced with understanding and implementing the Zero Trust Model regarding IAM. • Experience in evaluating and optimizing tools and technology stack, and negotiating contracts. • Experience with strategic planning, multiyear roadmap and financial management for all aspects of the IAM budget. • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed. • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making. • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information. • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language. • Able to create and conduct formal presentations. • Able to interact effectively with high levels of management (managers & above.) • Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively. • Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities. • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive. • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion. • Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed. • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines. • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities. • Able to work independently with minimum supervision. • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Able to effectively multi-task. • Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others. • Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others. • Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology. • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at a basic level. • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an intermediate level. • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an advanced level. • Able to talk on the phone (or wear a headset) for long periods of time. • Ability to stay aware and alert while performing work.
