Veterinary Call Center Operator- Remote Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) proudly opened its new, state-of-the-art facility in May 2024—an expansive, 100,000+ square foot space nearly twice the size of our original Tinton Falls location. This milestone marks the continuation of over 40 years of dedicated service to our community. Equipped with advanced diagnostics like MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, and a PET scanner, the hospital features 52 exam rooms, 12 surgical suites, a dedicated emergency department, and expanded training spaces. Thoughtful amenities—including feline-only waiting areas, a rehab unit, comfort rooms, and a serene zen garden—reflect our commitment to exceptional care for pets and their families. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Call Center Operator to join our team. Position Overview The Call Center Operator provides high quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients. Support the doctors and support staff. Look for ways to continually improve the delivery of services to our clients to ensure that clients are treated with respect and compassion. Location: • Remote: Red Bank, NJ • This role is open to candidates who reside in New Jersey ONLY at this time Compensation: • Up to $19/hr based on experience. Anticipated Schedule • Full Time • Monday – Friday • 8:30am – 4:30pm Key Responsibilities • Answer multiple line phone system • Transfer calls quickly and accurately • Assist in emergency situations by expediting calls to triage staff members • Knowledge of extension numbers to reach employees throughout the network • Utilize voice mail and paging system • Assist clients with direction to network hospitals • Troubleshoot problem calls • Understand the appointment scheduler program for exams and procedures • Answer general veterinary information questions regarding the hospitals • Inform and assist clients on navigating and using our website Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least ONE YEAR of successful Call Center or Medical facility experience preferred • At least ONE YEAR of successful Hospitality Industry experience preferred • Excellent communication skills. • Experience with a call volume of 80+ calls per day preferred • Ability to multi-task. • Must be computer literate; basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software. • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
