A skilled Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry and medical-surgical settings is needed for a travel opportunity in Winston-Salem, NC. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced hospital environment, primarily serving medical-surgical and telemetry patients. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions including respiratory issues, surgical and medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative and hospice care, psychiatric observation, and diabetic care. • Monitor and interpret telemetry data accurately. • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Maintain compliance with hospital standards, including mandatory EKG exam during onboarding. • Float across various hospital units as needed. Qualifications: • Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years nursing experience; first-time travel nurses are welcome. • BLS certification required. • Telemetry and medical-surgical nursing expertise. • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system. • Prior experience as a Charge RN preferred. • Ability to work night shifts: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend, with holiday coverage as required. • Flexible scheduling and adherence to strict attendance policies.
