We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Trainer to join our Technical Enablement team, a key part of our Revenue Enablement organization. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive technical training on our products, features, and underlying technology. Your primary focus will be to equip a wide range of critical stakeholders, including Pre-Sales (Solution Engineering), Post-Sales (Customer Success Managers/Engineers, Customer Support, and Professional Services), and Partners, with the technical expertise needed to excel in their roles and drive customer success and revenue growth.
Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive technical training on Cloudflare products, features, and underlying technology to a diverse audience, including Pre-Sales (Solution Engineering), Post-Sales (Customer Success Managers/Engineers, Customer Support, and Professional Services), and Partners.
  • Lead and evolve the technical bootcamp instructor-led training for new hires, ensuring a strong foundational understanding of our products and technologies.
  • Architect and oversee the development of engaging technical enablement content for internal and external audiences, such as service delivery partners, developers, and customers, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and business objectives.
  • Create a variety of technical learning assets, including knowledge articles, hands-on demos, interactive tutorials, self-guided labs, e-learnings, virtual classrooms, and robust skill assessments.
  • Develop and maintain product testing/training lab environments, including apps, websites, servers, and tools, to provide realistic and effective learning experiences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within a specific Cloudflare Product area (e.g., Application Services, Cloudflare One, Network Services, or Developer Platform), staying current with product updates and industry trends.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives by ensuring technical readiness for new product releases, collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience stakeholders to develop scalable training solutions that enhance product understanding and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of training delivery and content, continuously gathering feedback and iterating on programs to meet evolving needs and maintain high standards of excellence.
  • Occasional travel may be required to deliver in-person training sessions.

Qualifications
  • Very strong technical background with hands-on experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Support, Professional Services).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cloudflare products, services, and technologies, or a demonstrated ability to quickly master complex technical domains.
  • Proven experience in delivering technical training or presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with web application and network infrastructure concepts.
  • Proficiency with command line tools (e.g., cURL, dig, git, SQL) and basic scripting.
  • Experience setting up virtual environments, web servers, and basic web development.
  • Ability to navigate complex internal organizational structures and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity with the desire and ability to quickly understand and master complex technical concepts.
  • Situational fluency and a proven ability to influence and motivate others.

Qualifications
  • Experience in a dedicated training, enablement, or learning & development role.
  • Formal education or certifications in adult learning, instructional design, or a related field.
