Posting Date 06/30/2025 2130 Nicholasville Rd, Lexington, Kentucky, 40503-2520, United States of America GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Senior People Services Manager (PSM) is an integral member of the People Services leadership team for assigned segments of the business, acting as the trusted advisor on strategic human resources (HR) and other matters which impact business results. It is accountable for delivering extensive HR capabilities to both frontline teammates and leadership across all locations. This position is responsible for identifying organizational, cultural and people initiatives that are aligned with strategic priorities, ensuring compliance, and driving business success. The role entails knowledge and capability in the areas of talent management, leadership development, organizational design, internal consulting, training, teammate development, compensation and talent management. The Senior PSM strategically partners with various corporate centers of excellence to drive positive outcomes for the business and is vital in implementing corporate initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Participate in and/or lead a variety of projects including, but not limited to, Engagement Survey, Village Award, Open Enrollment, Talent Review and Focal Compensation planning. • Leverage data and analytics to help drive key people and organizational decisions, opportunities and actions. Complete organization diagnosis/assessment to understand various lane and departmental challenges; develop action plans for assigned group(s) to drive people services solutions for the business. • Partners with leadership at all levels and serves as a coach to VP and above leaders within the village Leverages knowledge of the various lines of business, job functions, and overall strategic direction to recommend strategic PS programs, initiatives and processes. Utilizes data/analytics to identify emerging PS issues and trends affecting the business at both an enterprise and team level, creating and implementing solutions to meet those needs. • Implement talent development activities (e.g., workforce planning, road mapping competencies, performance management process, succession planning, and leadership development), while utilizing best practices and tools from the corporate talent management team. • Leads other People Services Managers and partners with Directors to ensure appropriate balance and impacts companywide initiatives • Implement programs that foster communication and create favorable work environments at all levels of assigned areas. Develop and track measurements to support expected outcomes. • Design, develop and deliver best-in- class People Practices through training, education and facilitation, partnering with internal teams to meet local business requirements. Act as an expert in organization design to assist with structural changes, and facilitate and act as a change management champion for this and other changes. Demonstrated experience presenting to executives within the organization • Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups to deliver people service strategies • Comfortable working with imperfect/ambiguous information to shape a people service strategy • * Partner with Teammate Relations and DaVita’s Justice League on employment issues including but not limited to at-risk terminations, subpoenas, investigations and lawsuits as necessary. Know, understand, implement, follow, communicate, and ensure compliance with all DaVita employment policies and procedures. • Ability to coach, mentor, and lead People Services Managers and Generalist sProven ability to develop and mentor People Services teammates • Determine and execute local implementation plans to assist in rollout of corporate People Services programs and initiatives. • Other duties as assigned. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 5 years of HR Business Partner/ HR Generalist with broad exposure at enterprise level. • Minimum of 5-10 years previous experience in strategic enterprise level HR management roles for that includes such responsibilities in organizations with 1500+ teammates • Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization and to influence outcomes positively • Experience in OD and Change Management • Proven experience in Talent Management processes (workforce planning, performance management processes, succession planning, creating competencies for a large variety of roles across the enterprise and leadership development and professional development) • Demonstrated ability to develop and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization and to influence outcomes positively • Proven experience and excellence in communications and in creating and presenting programs and information to very large audiences and small executive teams • Prior experience supporting multiple locations in a fast paced environment, experience in fast growth startups is a plus • People Service Manager experience for 2-4 years within DaVita • Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) in Human Resources • Master’s Degree in business, human resources, or related discipline • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or related discipline TRAVEL AND TIME REQUIREMENTS Travel: 20% averaging 1 night per week out of state Nights/Weekends: n/a What We’ll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
