Posting Date 07/23/2025 2000 16th St, Denver, Colorado, 80202-5117, United States of America Job Description The Sr. Clinical Educator develops and implements clinical training programs for DaVita Kidney Care teammates, facilitating instructor-led sessions, creating job aids, and providing ongoing support. This role enhances knowledge transfer through program facilitation, process analysis, and continuous improvement while disseminating best practices and developing new educational materials. Additionally, the Sr. Educator collaborates cross-functionally to align initiatives, ensures efficient execution of programs and projects, and supports the mentorship and training of fellow clinical educators. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Facilitates all aspects of training as necessary to deliver live and remote class sessions, arenaflex Teams meetings, Q&A sessions, and refresher trainings to support new and existing teammates. Possesses basic technical proficiency capable of supporting learners in a virtual training environment. • Manages live and virtual instructor-led training (ILT) sessions, including moderation, roster submission, and TMSS ticket resolution. Opens sessions 15–20 minutes prior to start to load materials, welcome teammates, review housekeeping material, and provide attendance guidance. Utilizes multimedia tools to achieve course objectives, fosters engagement, resolves content or delivery conflicts, and ensures accurate course completion documentation. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support departmental and organizational goals. • Drives projects and new process development in collaboration with the Clinical Education & Training team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other key operational leaders • Drives development, review, revision of teammate-facing education and training materials and ensures alignment with cross-functional initiatives and teams. • Responsible for collecting, refining, incorporating, and sharing clinical best practices while also maintaining knowledge of current ESKD and Apheresis clinical practice standards, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned • Up to 25% travel Education and Experience: • Associate’s degree in nursing required • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Minimum of 2 years’ nephrology experience required • Prior experience in training through multiple mediums (live, web-based, self-directed, etc.) required • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and arenaflex Teams required • Experience in CQI methodology and techniques preferred • Experience in instructional design preferred • Proficiency in at least 3 of the 4 modalities: Hemodialysis (arenaflex), Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT), or Apheresis (Ability to attain proficiency in the 4th modality within 1 year of starting the role) required • Current RN license in state of practice required Certification in Dialysis Nursing (CDN), Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Case Management preferred What We’ll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
