We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our Delivery Services team, focusing on implementing Blue Yonder Production Planning and Scheduling solutions for customers in the automotive and discrete manufacturing sectors. This role blends strategic design with hands-on industry engagement and solution delivery. Scope As a Solution Architect, you will be the lead functional consultant responsible for driving the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Production Planning and Scheduling software solutions. Your work will span project phases from customer engagement and requirements gathering to deployment and post-go-live support. You will also be the functional liaison across of key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, project managers, technical consultants, and third-party consultancy, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution. You will be relentless in ensuring customers derive maximum value from their investment in our solutions. Solutions You Will Work With: • Production Planning and Scheduling • Order Slotting and Sequencing (OSS) • Transportation Capacity Planning • Vehicle Routing and Scheduling • Sequencing What You'll do / Key Responsibilities: • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to analyze business needs and translate them into tailored Blue Yonder solutions. • Solution Design: Lead the design of best-in-class supply chain planning solutions aligned with industry standards and customer requirements. • User Story & Documentation: Develop functional specifications, user stories, and project documentation to support implementation and adoption. • Implementation & Testing: Guide integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities to ensure seamless transitions. • Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing application support and optimization to ensure sustained value. • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary functional liaison among customer stakeholders, project managers, technical consultants, and third-party partners. • Strategic Insight: Contribute to product enhancement feedback and roadmap planning based on customer insights and industry trends. • Sales Support: Periodically support sales organization during pre-sales and sales opportunities with demonstrations of functional solutions. What are we looking for / Qualifications: • Industry Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Demand/Production Planning or Supply Chain Planning, with at least 3-5 years in the Automotive or Discrete Manufacturing industries • Functional Expertise: Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end supply chain planning solutions. Proficiency in conducting design sessions, interpreting business requirements and mapping to Blue Yonder functionalities, as well as performing system integration, and assisting with user acceptance testing and issue resolution • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and technical solutions related to Supply Chain Planning, especially within Discrete Manufacturing, Automotive or AutoT1 sectors • Solution Knowledge/Deployment: The ideal candidate will be proficient in the deployment of one or more of the following: Production Planning and Scheduling; Order Slotting and Sequencing (OSS); Transportation Capacity Planning; Vehicle Routing and Scheduling; Sequencing • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with common scripting languages (i.e. SQL, Python), Windows/Linux environments, and experience with cloud technologies (preferably arenaflex Azure) • Communication & Leadership: Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills. Including ability to communicate business cases to PMG/PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements • Project Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile project delivery and supply chain process methodologies • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, MIS/CIS, or related field Professional Attributes: • Self-driven, reliable, and proactive • Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment • Passionate about supply chain innovation and technology-driven transformation Synonymous Title: Solution Architect • LI-AD1 #LI-remote - The salary range for this position is: USD $99,208.00 - $114,000.00. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
