Job Summary Job Description Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Software Tester to join our team in Mundelein, IL. Job Description Support the software testing process. Work closely with development teams and help automate test cases, identify issues, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products. Assist with the design, development and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT, and other open-source solutions. Support the creation of test automation strategies and plans that align with the software development lifecycle. Help automate functional, regression, and performance test cases, ensuring they are maintainable and efficient. Work with scrum teams to integrate automation practices, enabling early and continuous testing of software components. Use automation tools effectively to support running test suites across different environments for comprehensive test coverage. Assist in identifying defects during automated testing and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Position reports to Medline headquarters at 1 Medline Pl, Mundelein, IL 60060. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. No additional national or international travel is anticipated. Job Requirements PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Management or related field and 5 years of relevant work experience. In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Working with different test management tools(Xray, ZypherCloud) to track and manage test cases and results. Using defect management tools like (Xray, Jira, zypher, Bugzilla) for logging and tracking defects. (2) Creating device specific test scenarios considering device-specific aspects including touchscreen, hardware buttons, and camera features. (3) Developing, designing, and maintaining automated test scripts using opensource frameworks (like Selenium) for functional, regression, and integration testing of Web Applications. Applying strong knowledge of any Scripting (like Javascript) for developing test scripts. (4) Designing, developing, and executing automated API test scripts using opensource frameworks (ex-Java scripting, Postman, RestAssured). Performing functional, regression, and integration testing for RESTful and SOAP web services. (5) Creating reusable and maintainable test scripts with testing APIs hosted on premises by using opensource frameworks (RestAssured, Postman). (6) Integrating API test scripts into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (arenaflex/CD) pipelines, executing API Tests at cloud (Azure/AWS) for build deployments.
