Social Media Assistant (Gaming)

About the role:

We’re looking for a very online Social Media Assistant who’s excited about the games industry. Passion for video games is a must, with bonus points if you have an interest in tactical hero shooters and MOBAs. This is a support role, focused on content creation, and requires robust graphic design and/or short-form video editing skills. Ideally, you’ll have at least 1-2 years of social media marketing experience under your belt, not necessarily within games.

This is not a remote position. We work from our office in East London at least once a week, so we’d ideally need you to be located within an hour’s commute from us. There is some flexibility on this for an ideal candidate, but we will prioritise local candidates.

What we're looking for:

– 1-2 years of social media marketing experience

– Great understanding of social media trends

– Confident in conducting social media research

– Good image and short-form video editing skills, ideally using Adobe suite

– Confident with Google Suite: Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides

– Able to conduct work in a professional manner

Your responsibilities:‍

– Social media content creation

– Scheduling and posting content - occasionally including covering live events outside of typical working hours with the social team.

– Video and image editing

– Brainstorming social media content ideas

– Social media trend research

– Assisting social team members

– Using marketing tools after training

– Participating in external and internal meetings

Location:

We work under the hybrid model and are in the office at least once a week. Being able to commute to our office in Hackney is a must, as this is not a remote role.

Salary:

The salary range for the position is £30,000-£32,000 PA. This is a full-time role. We work four days a week, with an occasional five-day week.
