Senior Remote Field Installation & Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leading provider of specialized technical equipment, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Remote Field Installation & Maintenance Supervisor to lead their distributed team of technicians. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage and guide field operations from anywhere. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of our client's equipment at customer sites across various regions. Your primary duties will involve supervising and coordinating the activities of field installation and maintenance teams, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in scheduling and dispatching technicians, monitoring project progress, troubleshooting complex technical issues remotely, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of installation and maintenance best practices. You will also be involved in training and mentoring field technicians, developing standard operating procedures, and managing spare parts inventory. A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of remote field installation and maintenance technicians. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of installation, maintenance, and repair projects. Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards. Provide remote technical support and guidance to field technicians for complex issues. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for installation and maintenance activities. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and coaching to field staff. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely replenishment. Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in field installation, maintenance, or a similar technical role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Proven experience managing and leading remote or field-based technical teams. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of installation and maintenance processes for complex equipment. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions in a remote environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in technical operations.
