Senior Property Portfolio Manager (Remote)

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Property Portfolio Manager to oversee and optimize a diverse portfolio of real estate assets. This is a challenging and rewarding fully remote position, offering unparalleled flexibility and the opportunity to manage properties from anywhere. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving value, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing the financial performance of each property within the portfolio. You will leverage your extensive real estate knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong analytical skills to make informed decisions and implement effective management strategies.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans for the acquisition, disposition, and repositioning of real estate assets to maximize portfolio value. Conduct thorough market research and financial analysis to identify investment opportunities and potential risks. Oversee the financial performance of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on key metrics such as occupancy rates, rental income, and operating expenses. Manage tenant relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Coordinate with property management teams, leasing agents, and legal counsel to ensure smooth operations and compliance. Negotiate leases, service contracts, and other agreements. Oversee capital improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Monitor real estate market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the portfolio. Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders. Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Utilize property management software and data analytics tools to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Lead and mentor junior members of the portfolio management team in a remote capacity. Conduct virtual property inspections and site visits as required, leveraging technology for remote assessment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in real estate asset management, property management, or investment. Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties. Strong understanding of real estate finance, valuation methods, and market analysis. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in real estate software and financial modeling tools. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions in a remote setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in leading and managing remote teams is highly desirable. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPM, CCIM) are preferred.
