Senior Production Line Supervisor

Our client, a leading manufacturing firm in **Kitale, Trans-Nzoia, KE**, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Production Line Supervisor to oversee and optimize daily manufacturing operations. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality goods while managing a team of production staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control systems.

Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback. Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operation, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies on the production floor. Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure timely fulfillment of production schedules and meet output targets. Maintain accurate production records, including output, waste, and labor costs. Implement and promote lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement in productivity and cost reduction. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly. Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and employee engagement. Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new production staff. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures.
