Senior Procurement Specialist, Remote
Our client is seeking a highly competent and strategic Senior Procurement Specialist to lead critical sourcing initiatives. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage global procurement processes from your chosen location. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization within diverse supply chains. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential to our operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute category strategies to achieve optimal sourcing outcomes, including cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvement. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and new sourcing opportunities. Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from requirement definition and RFx development to negotiation and contract award. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and conditions with suppliers to achieve significant cost reductions and value enhancement. Manage supplier performance through regular reviews and the implementation of corrective actions when necessary. Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance. Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to understand their procurement needs and provide expert guidance. Qualifications:
