The Team Our Private Equity and Principal Investors‘ team in North America focuses on delivering value along the investment cycle, from due diligence to post acquisition work, providing independent and business oriented technical advisory in Operational Excellence & Risk Management as well as ESG to leading Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies. We are looking to hire someone with a blend of technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills, who is willing to continue growing into commercial roles over the coming years and help further grow and develop the team. What will you do? The role is highly entrepreneurial - an opportunity to help strengthen our value proposition to PE clients in a fast moving, high-growth environment. Focusing on Sustainable Safe Operations, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills working across multiple sectors and geographies of portfolio companies. Additionally, as a firm that both advises and implements, you’ll be able to see the positive impacts and value that your work delivers for the client. You’ll drive both pre-acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration services. You’ll lead key client relationships and provide guidance and senior advisory to project teams. You’ll use your strong consulting experience and knowledge of the Private Equity market to ensure excellent delivery and drive growth. You’ll build long-term relationships, lead significant cross-team initiatives and develop talent. You’ll help shape our value proposition, develop capability and build brand awareness. More specifically, you’ll: • Manage and enhance relationship with PE clients, with the objective of positioning the company as a trusted partner. Identify and pursue additional business opportunities. • Support dss+ in expanding its value proposition to PE clients and support senior leaders in the organization to bring in new business. • Lead the delivery of operations consulting across private equity backed firms through post-merger integration/carve out and due diligence. • Participate and contribute to functional and/or industry networks to develop and share best practice. • Mentor and coach junior colleagues to support their development within the organization. • Create awareness, understanding and pull for our PE focused propositions across the DSS business. Who are you? You’re a Senior Manager in a professional services organization with a successful track record with Private Equity clients. You understand the dynamics of a PE portfolio company lifecycle, the intense demands placed on executives and the outstanding needs of PE Operating Partners. You’re delivery-focused with strong project management capability. You’re able to build long term client relationships. To be successful, you’ll have: • Extensive knowledge (+15 years) of delivering Consulting projects (ideally in a client-site focused delivery model) in a top tier strategy & operations management consulting firm. • Excellent communication skills at senior executive/board level • A recent track record of successfully leading teams & delivering major transformational assignments, including understanding of value drivers in Operational risk, transformation and link with sustainability levers. • A mix of internal operations experience and consulting experience is highly appreciated. • Even though the role is remote, you must have an ability and willingness to travel to client sites and some occasions, at short notice as part of the working week. • Strong analytical skills and deep dive analysis, comfortable working in a context of uncertainty and tight deadlines. • A persuasive and effective communicator & stakeholder manager who can engage effectively with leadership teams in pressure situations and influence at executive level. • Graduate in Engineering or Business Administration with MBA.
