Job Title - Senior Manager, Business Development, CRO Services, East Coast Work location: Remote, Greater Maryland Area Job Summary: This Business Development (Sr.) Manager is responsible for identifying and building new customer relationships to deliver year over year new customer acquisition and pipeline opportunity growth arenaflex for Wuxi Biologics Global Biologics Research Division. The role will focus on new business generation through proactive outreaching, existing client relationship maintenance, and close collaboration with the marketing team. Responsibilities: • Generating new business from new customers through high level of customer outreach and contact including customer visits and extensive networking activities. • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and effectively promote WuXi Biologics’ technical capabilities and specialties. Provide solution based consultative selling to meet customer needs. • Maintain existing customers through trust-based relationships and high quality customer support. • Collaborate with marketing, project managers and production team to develop strategies that promote customer acquisition and retention. • Collect market intelligence with information gathering and trend analysis on the industry, pricing, and competition. • Collect, analyze and track competitors’ information and business move, help make departmental strategic plan. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Experience in sales or business development is a plus, experience with scientific background • Experience with antibody drug discovery and recombinant protein expression & purification required • Master’s degree required, advanced degree in science or commensurate experience is preferred (e.g. PhD, MBA) • Prefer to have the background of the antibody drug discovery, recombinant protein expression & purification, and knowledge of downstream pre-clinical assays is a plus. • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with customers and key stakeholders, good conflict management skills • Demonstrate ability to translate strategy into action, strong influence, negotiation, and presentation skills. • High energy level with strong drive to constantly improving; self-motivated. • Strong team player • Ability to travel The anticipated pay range for this position is $95k-155k An Equal Opportunity Employer.
