LEGAL What We Do Epic's multi-specialized team of attorneys and legal professionals partner across our organization to provide legal solutions as well as consult and inform on the products we build and games we develop. What You'll Do Epic's Marketplaces Legal team supports Epic's digital marketplaces including the Epic Games Store (PC, Mac, iOS, and Android), Fab, Sketchfab, and Artstation. As a part of this support, the Marketplaces Legal team helps the product teams navigate emerging payment regulations ensuring Epic's compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. In this role, you will • Advise business and product teams on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to prepaid balances, loyalty points, payments, and e-commerce • Provide legal advice for international expansion of Epic's digital storefronts (both PC and mobile) and related services, including licensing requirements and local compliance considerations • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in the payments industry, advising on their impact and ensuring Epic's compliance with these regulations, liaising with regulators on issues related to compliance with local laws • Advise on the structuring of payment flows for both pay-ins and payouts • Carry out a legal risk assessment in relation to fraud prevention, AML, and liability allocation • Act as a liaison among Legal, Compliance, Business, Product Development and Operations teams to ensure alignment on payment-related legal and regulatory matters.
