This role will play a critical part in designing and delivering advanced visualization and analytics capabilities that empower engineers and leaders to make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will combine a strong technical background and strong understanding of data modeling, data relationships and visualization best practices. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and leadership, to create impactful visualizations that improve design validation, enhance system reliability, and optimize development efficiency while supporting strategic initiatives and decision-making processes. This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. What YOU will do: • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and analytical tools to support engineering teams. • Analyze, automate, and process engineering and test datasets using Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL. • Build scalable, secure visualization solutions aligned with engineering data architecture and digital thread standards. • Integrate diverse data sources (e.g., flight test data, simulation outputs, PLM data, operational metrics) into unified analytical views. • Create knowledge graph and ontology-based visualizations to represent system relationships and dependencies. • Define and implement best practices for data integration, visualization design, and performance optimization. • Partner with engineers to translate technical questions into actionable insights. • Mentor engineers and analysts on visualization tools, data modeling, and data quality. • Participate in Agile sprints, owning user stories, backlog items, and deliverables. • Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit. Qualifications you must have: • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
