Company Description 20/20 Metals is a wholesale distributor specializing in prime and surplus metal products such as Aluminum, Stainless and Coated Carbon Steel. We focus on flat rolled products in coil, sheet, and plate form. As a premium buyer of surplus and secondary metal, we help businesses turn dead inventory into liquid operating capital. Hours: Full-Time - Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm EST Location: Remote Industry Experience: Required About the Role: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Operations Assistant to support our growing sales team. This role is central to ensuring smooth order flow, strong customer relationships, and efficient coordination between internal teams and external partners. You’ll manage the full order lifecycle — from purchase to delivery — ensuring every customer experience meets or exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities: • Order Processing: Manage incoming sales orders from entry to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Logistics Coordination: Work closely with freight providers, warehouses, and processors to schedule and track shipments. • Customer Management: Serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates, documentation, and proactive communication throughout the order process. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the sales team to support their efforts and provide real-time order and inventory insights. • Vendor & Warehouse Communication: Maintain daily coordination with third-party warehouses, processors, and carriers to ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve service quality, and enhance operational efficiency.
