[Remote] VistA Database Administrator (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GovCIO is currently hiring for a VistA Database Administrator to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Portfolio. The role involves providing strategic and operational leadership for VistA Database Administration processes, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing package entries. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage VistA Package, Namespace, Class, and File Range assignments • Lead DBA Data Dictionary (DD) Change Request process and Intake redesign • Maintain and update DBA Process and Standards documentation • Manage the VistA Integration Control Registration (ICR) Lookup Tool • Respond to DBA Mailgroup inquiries and FORUM updates • Conduct analysis and mockups for new PACKAGE entries • Support Power Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard development and data validation Skills • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline and 15 years of relevant experience.
