Remote Senior Sales Development Representative - SaaS

Our client is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their fully remote sales team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in driving pipeline growth by identifying and engaging prospective clients for our cutting-edge SaaS solutions. You will leverage your expertise in lead generation, outbound prospecting, and consultative selling to connect with key decision-makers, understand their business challenges, and qualify their interest and potential fit.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Proactively identifying and researching potential clients through various channels, including online databases, social media, industry events (virtual), and targeted outreach. Developing and executing strategic outbound campaigns via email, phone calls, and social selling to generate qualified sales opportunities. Conducting thorough discovery calls to understand prospect needs, pain points, and business objectives. Articulating the value proposition of our SaaS products effectively, tailoring messaging to specific industries and roles. Collaborating closely with Account Executives to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and provide comprehensive context. Meeting and exceeding monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads and initial meetings booked. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and sales activities in the CRM system. Continuously refining prospecting strategies and techniques based on market feedback and performance data. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and the evolving landscape of our target markets. Providing feedback to marketing and product teams on market insights and prospect needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a sales development or B2B outbound prospecting role, preferably within the SaaS industry. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is expected. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills are essential. You must be highly motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft) is a strong plus. A persistent, resilient, and coachable attitude is key to thriving in this role.
