Remote Lead Sanitation Specialist

Our client, a leading entity in maintaining high standards of hygiene across various sectors, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Sanitation Specialist to join their completely remote team. This position is critical for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive sanitation programs designed to ensure optimal cleanliness and safety standards are met. You will be leveraging your expertise to guide teams, develop protocols, and drive best practices in sanitation, all managed through effective virtual collaboration and leadership.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and standardize cleaning and sanitation protocols and procedures for diverse operational environments, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Design and implement training programs for cleaning staff, focusing on best practices, chemical safety, and the correct use of equipment, delivered through virtual platforms. Conduct remote audits and inspections of facilities to assess sanitation effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to established standards. Analyze sanitation data and performance metrics to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Research and recommend new cleaning technologies, chemicals, and equipment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Proven experience in developing and implementing successful sanitation programs and training materials. In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation techniques. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to sanitation (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams remotely. Proficiency in using digital tools for project management, data analysis, and virtual collaboration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage workload effectively in a fully remote setup. Certifications such as CMI (Certified Master Inspector) or similar are a plus.
