They are seeking experienced Labor & Employment Lawyers to support their multinational corporate clients on various labor law issues while working remotely or on-site based on project needs. Responsibilities • Advise clients on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, employee benefits, labor relations, and wrongful termination, etc • Ensure our client operations comply with the laws relating to human resources and employment law relating to matters such as defending claims, drafting and negotiating employment contracts, and advising on policies • Dynamic project work conducted remotely or on-site depending on client needs • Variable hours in a consultancy role; commitment may range from part-time to full-time based on project requirements • Professional immersion in diverse corporate cultures and industries Skills • Juris Doctor (JD) from a highly regarded, accredited institution • 10+ years of hands-on labor & employment law experience including litigation, counseling, and investigations in a law firm, private practice, or in-house environment • Substantive experience with investigations, pre-litigation, developing litigation strategies, and actual litigation, all in the areas of employment law • Experience conducting legal research and analysis to aid with remaining current on labor and employment law developments and provide guidance to clients • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering precise, time-sensitive work product with minimal oversight • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across internal business units, executive leadership, external partners, and cross-functional teams • Resilient under pressure, adept at meeting tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy • Global exposure preferred, with experience advising multinational stakeholders Benefits • Predominately remote/hybrid work. • 401(k) with company match • PTO and paid federal holidays • Optional medical coverage; HSA Account; Wellness Program • Employee Assistance Program • Pre-tax Commuter Benefits (as applicable) Company Overview • Epiq Counsel helps manage in-house workflow by engaging experienced legal professionals.
