[Remote] Director, Infrastructure Technology Consulting

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ENDUIR Cyber is a consulting partner focused on aligning cybersecurity with enterprise technology to enhance business resilience. The Director of Infrastructure Technology Consulting will lead client engagements in hybrid architecture design and cloud modernization, collaborating with DevOps teams to implement secure and effective infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities • Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture: scope, plan, and deliver advice to Client’s data center and cloud hosted platforms considering end user, compute, storage, network, and identity components • Design reference architectures & solutions: hybrid identity, network segmentation, observability/SIEM, backup/DR, and Azure/AWS landing zones; create reusable artifacts/accelerators • Operate at two altitudes: brief CIO/CTO/CISO/CFO with clear POVs and guide engineers with implementable plans • Mentor and lead: coordinate Enduir SMEs (identity, network, cloud, security engineering) into one cohesive design and delivery plan • Drive measurable outcomes: resilience uplift, arenaflex optimization, modernization milestones—on‑time/on‑budget—with transparent progress reporting • Thrive in ambiguity: structure complex problems, make sensible trade‑offs, and maintain calm urgency • Collaborate with DevOps/platform teams: embed DevSecOps principles (arenaflex/CD controls, secrets management, IaC policy‑as‑code) into architecture considerations and transformation plans • Set enterprise architecture direction & portfolio guardrails (arenaflex state, landing zones, identity, network, observability, data protection/DR) • Lead large, multi‑tower transformations (infra, cloud, security, data, apps, EUC) with program governance (steerco, KPIs, critical path) • Scale standards & operating models across assets (e.g., FinOps, risk/controls governance); influence practice strategy and portfolio priorities • Lead discovery and assess cyber/infra controls (identity, network, logging, backup/DR, Azure/AWS cloud posture); quantify risk and arenaflex‑to‑remediate • Shape a cohesive solution: Orchestrate Enduir technical experts (identity, network, cloud, security engineering) to validate findings and recommend pragmatic remediation options aligned to the investment thesis • Own delivery & satisfaction: Drive the workplan and economics (scope, timeline, on‑budget), produce sponsor‑ready red/yellow/green summaries and underwriting inputs; maintain stakeholder confidence and client satisfaction • Architect a thesis‑aligned diligence model (risk scenarios, escrow/R&W inputs, TSA implications), negotiate access and scope with bankers/arenaflex, and set a confirmatory work plan that de‑risks close • Build a prioritized roadmap (milestones, RACI, budget/staffing) across identity modernization, network segmentation, tool rationalization, and data‑center exit steps • Shape a cohesive solution: Lead Enduir technical experts to design reference architectures and cutover runbooks; balance quick wins vs. structural fixes to ensure feasibility • Own delivery & satisfaction: Run weekly cadence, track progress/KPIs, manage change control, and deliver on‑time/on‑budget; brief executives with clear trade‑offs and maintain client satisfaction • Own the transformation program end‑to‑end—secure funding, establish OKRs/KPIs, chair the steerco, manage critical path across infra/cloud/security/EUC/apps, and align the operating model (roles/SLAs) for durable run • Run baseline assessments using Enduir’s proprietary methodology; produce portfolio heatmaps and board‑ready reporting with actionable follow‑arenaflex • Shape a cohesive solution: Coordinate Enduir experts to define minimum control standards and reusable patterns (identity hardening, backup/restore testing, detection use cases) and support adoption at each asset • Own delivery & satisfaction: Manage multi‑asset scheduling, ensure consistent quality, communicate progress transparently, and deliver on‑budget with strong client satisfaction • Expand the scope of review and baseline definement into new tools/technology types (e.g., SASE/SD‑WAN, EDR/XDR, SIEM/observability, DLP/data security, email security, platform backup/DR) and drive portfolio‑wide adoption and measurement • Partner with Enduir incident leaders to translate lessons learned into control changes, tabletop scenarios, and roadmap updates; prior IR experience not required • Shape a cohesive solution: Lead Enduir experts to implement identity hardening, endpoint re‑baseline, email security hygiene, logging/SIEM uplift, and backup validation—prioritizing feasible, high‑value actions • Own delivery & satisfaction: Establish a short‑cycle plan, track improvements, communicate clearly to executives, and deliver on‑budget with high client satisfaction • Serve as the sponsor’s executive incident advisor—calibrate materiality and external communications with counsel/insurers, secure uplift funding, sequence cross‑portfolio improvements, and brief Boards on risk reduction Skills • 12–15+ years;
