[Remote] Business Intelligence & Data Visualization Specialist

They are seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Visualization Specialist to drive their data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence strategy by designing data models and dashboards to improve decision-making across teams. Responsibilities • Define, implement, and manage data models, schemas, field structures, and taxonomies to ensure consistency across systems and tools (Airtable, Power BI, Dynamics 365, etc.) • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and scalability across integrated platforms • Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to track key performance indicators, service outcomes, and compliance metrics • Translate business requirements into actionable visual solutions using Power Query, DAX, and other BI tools • Enhance existing dashboards to improve usability, accuracy, and performance • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Power BI across the organization, training and supporting users • Perform advanced data analysis, scenario modeling, and predictive analytics to support strategy and decision-making • Partner with business units to define KPIs, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement • Present findings to management and non-technical teams in clear, actionable formats • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices for BI solutions • Ensure compliance with applicable data governance, integrity, and security standards • Troubleshoot issues and act as the first line of support for data and visualization-related requests Skills • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field • 5 plus years of professional experience in business analysis, BI development, or data visualization • Proven expertise with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard design) – a must! • Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, clean, and transform large datasets • Ability to map data relationships, create logical structures, and translate business needs into analytics solutions • Excellent communication skills with ability to present insights clearly • Experience designing and managing solutions in Airtable (bases, views, automations, integrations) – is highly recommended Company Overview • Sungrow is a global leader in renewable energy technology with 740 GW of power electronic converters installed worldwide as of Dec. 2024.
