[Remote] Automotive Mechanical Claims Adjuster

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brown & Brown is seeking an Automotive Mechanical Claims Adjuster to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage mechanical and ancillary claims, investigate failures, determine coverage, and negotiate repairs while providing compassionate customer service. Responsibilities • Assess coverage, determine liability, and evaluate damages. • Communicate regularly with customers via phone, email, and text. • Utilize digital platforms and tools to manage and resolve claims. • Negotiate fair repairs with claimants, third-party facilities, and vendors. • Document claims activity and decisions accurately within internal systems. • Support customers throughout the claim and repair process. • Collaborate with all Adjusters on shared claim responsibilities. • Follow Brown & Browns Claims Culture of caring, empowering, and restoring. Skills • Automotive experience as a service writer, parts personnel, technician, Inspector or other field related experience is required. • Background in reading and writing Repair orders, estimates, and invoices. • An adept ability to verify parts pricing and labor time from published guides and field experience. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Proven problem-solving and negotiation abilities. • arenaflex Office Suite fluent.
