What You’ll Do


The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Superintendent and will oversee a team of hourly personnel. This position ensures that all furnaces, production, and shipping functions meet all established goals and production standards. Daily, this person directs changes to production flow and may alter shift priorities based on current situations. This roles requires schedule flexibility, will rotations between 1st and 2nd shift operations.

  • Plans and executes pre-established production and manpower utilization standards
  • Ensures quality standards are maintained to meet production specifications
  • Completes daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding production/maintenance, safety, manpower, and utilization
  • Troubleshoots equipment and works to improve processes to maximize production
  • Supervises and drives productivity to employees
  • Recommends methods of improvement to efficiently utilize production tools
  • Assists in training new employees

What You’ll Need


To be successful in this position, you must:

  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Have 5+ years of technical experience and/or demonstrated proficiency in plant day to day operations
  • Possess good analytical skills and be detail oriented
  • Be able to meet deadlines and work well in a team environment
  • Have in depth knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
