We are looking for a dedicated and skilled primary-grade Math Instructor to deliver engaging online math lessons aligned with the US Common Core standards. The instructor will help young learners build a strong foundation in mathematics through interactive teaching methods and innovative educational tools. This is a fully remote position designed for professionals passionate about elementary math education and fostering student success. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Design & Lesson Delivery • Plan and deliver math lessons based on the US Common Core curriculum for primary grades (K-5). • Teach fundamental concepts such as numbers, operations, geometry, measurement, data analysis, and problem-solving. • Use age-appropriate and interactive teaching methods to create an engaging virtual learning experience. Incorporate games, visual aids, and digital tools to make math fun and relatable for young learners. • Student Engagement & Support • Create a positive and encouraging online classroom environment that fosters active participation. • Provide individualized attention to support diverse learning styles and pace. • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in solving mathematical problems. Assessment & Feedback • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and identify areas for improvement. • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to help track and enhance performance. • Tailor learning strategies to meet individual student needs and ensure inclusivity. Classroom Management & Technical Skills • Manage virtual classrooms effectively using platforms like Zoom, arenaflex Classroom, or other LMS tools. • Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and progress records. • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and guide students in accessing online materials. Requirements Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; a teaching certification is preferred. Familiarity with the US Common Core curriculum for primary grades is essential. • Experience: • Minimum of 2 years teaching elementary-level math, preferably in an online environment. • Proven ability to engage young learners in virtual settings. Skills: • Strong knowledge of primary math concepts and teaching strategies tailored to young learners. • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective virtual teaching. • Proficiency in EdTech tools and platforms to create engaging and interactive lessons.
