About the position Responsibilities • Develop and manage daily production schedules in the ERP/MRP system, optimizing asset efficiency while maintaining exceptional service standards. • Monitor and manage short- and medium-term capacity planning, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks. • Collaborate with operations leadership to plan staffing levels and downtime on a weekly basis. • Maintain and execute an inventory strategy that supports top-tier service at the lowest inventory holding bolthires. • Make informed decisions on rerouting and outsourcing to offload over-capacity assets, including coordination with outside service providers (OSPs). • Partner with the customer service team to quote accurate and competitive delivery dates, ensuring all orders are fulfilled as promised. • Work collaboratively with others in the planning team to solve problems, provide coverage, and contribute to team success. • Generate work and purchase orders in response to customer demand. • Support marketing initiatives and product launches that impact production scheduling, including seasonal demand changes. • Coordinate with R&D to schedule trials and help bring new innovations to market. • Stay agile and responsive to shifting business priorities and deliver against strategic goals. • Collaborate with other supply chain teams to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Perform additional duties as required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred. • Strong understanding of inventory management and demand planning principles. • Proficient in bolthires Excel, with the ability to analyze, modify, and create reports. • Highly self-motivated and driven, with a commitment to learning and professional growth. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across functions.
