People Operations Administrator (Remote Eligible)

Today, we deliver a leading cloud-based platform for work execution, empowering organizations to plan, capture, track, automate, and report on work at scale, resulting in more efficient processes and better business outcomes We’re seeking a People Operations Administrator to provide key support for the new hire process, employee orientation, and Human Resources Information Systems (Workday) functionality & efficiency. You will have a history of supporting employees while promoting a great employee experience. You will be part of the People Operations & Strategy Team and will report directly to the Manager, People Operations You Will: • Coordinate and oversee employee onboarding projects and events, including: background checks, onboarding paperwork, new hire onboarding, equipment provisioning, and “welcome events” • Assist new hires with benefit enrollments, qualifying events, employee education and feedback, and internal audits • Develop and support operating procedures to manage data and business flows utilizing Workday or other people systems, ensuring data integrity • Partner with the People Systems team to continuously improve the Workday infrastructure to automate processes, implement web-based self-service features, and minimize administrative overhead • Act as a point of contact for employees on a variety of employment and People-related inquiries and liaison between the Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Office, and IT teams • Analyze organizational trends and metrics to review initiatives, drive expected results and identify areas for improvement • Be a Smartsheet Cultural Ambassador by recognizing and developing the culture of the Bellevue Office while continuing to champion the core Smartsheet values You Have: • 1+ years of direct experience in a HR setting • Exhibit a passion for working with various employees and an ability to understand new HR concepts • Possess a formal understanding of multiple HR systems and processes while working with multiple functional departments • Proven ability to move the company forward by applying new ideas to generate solutions and approaches • Demonstrate, promote, and reinforce an uncompromising commitment to high standards of ethical behavior • Display flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities to assist with various projects as needed • Model a determined focus and will to succeed that is contagious; handle adversity well, recover quickly, and sustain drive over the long haul • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred • Advanced level of proficiency using arenaflex Office and arenaflex for Work • HRIS and Smartsheet experience a plus Perks & Benefits: • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees • Equity - Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) Equity with all offers • Lucrative Employee Stock Purchase Program (15% discount) • 401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay) • Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity • 15 days PTO to start, plus Flexible Sick Leave • Teleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific) • Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave • Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community • Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to LinkedIn Learning online courses • Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, primary care membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account Equal Opportunity Employer: Smartsheet is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment with the best employees.
