The Executive Paralegal/Executive Assistant role at Southworth PC is a critical position that bridges high-level legal work and executive support. This dual role is designed to ensure continuity, precision, and momentum across both legal matters and day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in managing complex legal workflows, client communications, and executive priorities, directly contributing to operational stability, client outcomes, and the firm’s ability to function at a high level during an important period of growth and evolution What you’ll do: • Legal Research and Writing: Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft necessary documents including motions and appeals. • Document Preparation: Prepare, proof, and file legal documents, utilizing platforms such as the EEO and MSPB portals. • Caseload Management: Support an active legal caseload by tracking deadlines, coordinating filings, and ensuring client communications are handled accurately, professionally, and on time. • Executive Support: Own executive inbox and calendar management, proactively prioritizing requests, anticipating needs, coordinating travel and meetings, and ensuring high-priority items are followed through to completion. • Client Communication: Manage and coordinate client communications related to active matters, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional follow-through in alignment with attorney guidance. • Operational Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient legal and operational workflows, helping translate priorities into action in a fast-moving environment.
