Job Description

Role Overview:    

This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on marketer with strong operational acumen and a results-oriented mindset. As the Multichannel Marketing & Commercial Operations Manager, you will drive the Digital  Transformation and commercial success of AbbVie’s specialty care brands.

With a focus on leveraging innovative digital, omnichannel, and B2B strategies, you will lead the orchestration of marketing, sales, and operational execution across the product lifecycle while efficiently managing day-to-day marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital marketing strategy and execution for specialty care brands, ensuring effective use of email, content marketing, and online advertising across platforms.
  • Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., Veeva CRM) to enable seamless omnichannel campaigns, sales alignment, and HCP/customer engagement.  
  • Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including design of promotional materials, digital content, and multichannel messaging.
  • Develop, execute, and analyze large-scale B2B events, webinars, workshops, and virtual conferences focused on reinforcing brand legacy, educating stakeholders, and expanding the commercial network.
  • Ideate and/or provide support for any BD&L activity such as managing partnerships and lifecycle initiatives for mature/off-patent products, and collaborating with supply chain for optimal market availability   
  • Collaborate with sales and business teams to develop sales forecasts, monitor market trends, and support demand planning.  
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, omnichannel effectiveness, customer insights, and market trends to inform commercial decision-making
  • Serve as a champion for digital transformation within the commercial and marketing teams by influencing best practices, process optimization, and capability building across marketing operations 
  • Maintain strict compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations, data privacy, and internal policies for all operations and communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or relevant field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, commercial operations, or pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing.
  • Proven success in marketing off-patent, established brands and driving value via digital and non-traditional promotional strategies.
  • Experience with B2B marketing and BD&L processes will be advantageous
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with marketing automation and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CRM systems management (preferably Veeva CRM/Salesforce), digital marketing automation, and omnichannel enablement will be ideal.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience, including proven ability to drive digital or commercial transformation.
