Qualified candidates would have a solid background in metal fabrication in general. As a custom fab shop, we are ideally looking for a well-rounded experience base in all the metal fab areas (welding, bending, custom metal parts layout, drilling, threading, etc.).

ü Experience in general metal forming, ideally including tube bending (but not required).

ü Experience with part layout and fabrication per blueprint specs

ü Sound mechanical reasoning and blueprint reading skills

ü Exercises teamwork with problem solving skills

Top duties:

ü Set up and operate inhouse metal fabrication machines producing custom parts for our customers

ü Follow quality inspection procedures and the associated documentation

ü Capable of inspecting parts using a variety of measuring tools and showing others how to use these same tools.

ü Understand customer expectations and provide job status updates toward part delivery schedules

ü Salary ranges from $18.00 to$23.00 based on experience

ü 7:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. (occasional OT – work to start at 5:00 a.m. – no weekends)
