Marketing Coordinator, Client Engagement

Summary The Marketing Coordinator, Client Engagement is a key team member within the Marketing Department. The Coordinator supports a range of office, regional and firmwide marketing and client engagement initiatives designed to elevate the Firm’s profile and help lawyers connect with clients, as described below. They take an active role in learning about the service offering, lawyers, and clients of the office/region, and work closely with colleagues across offices and functions to coordinate a range of integrated marketing efforts. Duties and Responsibilities • Works with lawyers and marketing colleagues to plan and execute Firm sponsored and hosted client events: • Identifies event and sponsorship opportunities aligned with the Firm’s office/regional practices and industries • Develops appropriate invitation lists and seeks relevant approvals • Creates invitations in collaboration with the design team, distributes invitations, and processes registrations • Coordinates the production of event materials • Coordinates pre-event planning and post-event debrief meetings with stakeholders • Defines event metrics to measure ROI • Supports office/regional client entertainment activities, including management of the Firm’s ticket assets and allocation system: • Acts as primary contact for all regional sports and event ticket requests • Works with the BD and Marketing team and office/regional leadership to identify appropriate business development use of firm tickets • Leverages the use of the firm’s ticket database to maintain accurate records of all ticket usage and works with the accounting department to appropriately document ticket expenses • Tracks ticket usage and prepared utilization reports • Assists with drafting and reviewing lawyer biographies for Sidley.com • Liaises with lawyers to produce and distribute internal and external marketing communications, including new lawyer announcements and newsletters • Drafts regional news announcements and other content for the intranet, website, and social media platforms • Helps identify relevant speaking and other credentialing opportunities for office/regional lawyers and assists in the production of required materials • Assists in the planning and execution of office/regional marketing initiatives and events that further the Firm’s SidleyWomen and Diversity programs • Leverages firm technology such as SalesForce (campaign and project management), InterAction (contact relationship management), and Foundation (experience management) to document and track marketing activity • Collaborates with the Creative team to produce marketing materials related to sponsorships and advertisements • Assists in the selection, procurement, inventory, and distribution of firm promotional items for marketing activities • Performs research and data collection on clients and contacts, industries, and competitors, as requested • Assists in training lawyers and professional staff on InterAction, LinkedIn, and other marketing related tools • Supports special projects as requested by Marketing Department management and regional lawyers Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
