The Corporate Insurance team at UHS is looking for motivated Manager- Corporate Risk Analytics to assist performs analysis, applies mathematical calculations and determines methods to improve the processes within the Risk Management Department by impacting safety, outcomes, service, arenaflex/claims and productivity. Responsibilities • Monitors the effectiveness of processes, providing timely feedback, setting ever higher targets, and creating a safety culture, benchmarks best practices, applies statistical analysis tools. • Enhance data driven decision making capabilities, improve operational effectiveness, and reduce costs. • Coordinate and implement patient safety initiatives within the Acute Care Division, establishing indicators for monitoring and evaluating the quality and outcomes related to patient care and patient safety. • Manage the Corporate Risk Management responsibilities regarding Midas Risk Modalities, Riskonnect Enterprise/Marsh Clear Sight, MIDAS reports, MIDAS data harvesting, and multiple division wide databases. • Manage the Corporate Risk Management content of the PSO Facility PSES sites as assigned. Requirements • Bachelors degree required with a minimum of 5 -8 years of acute care healthcare experience. • Masters degree preferred. • Experience in the implementation and on-going maintenance of Continuous Risk Reduction Improvement systems in a multi-hospital environment. • Management experience with progressive achievement in a healthcare environment preferred. • Knowledge of statistical methodologies. • Ability to analyze and interpret data and translate abstract concepts into tangible information. • Project management and meeting facilitation experience preferred. • Experience leading process development and revision. • Ability to prepare and present information to the department/division related to ongoing efforts to minimize and reduce risk events in the organization. • Proficiency with statistical analysis software, Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio.
