Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Enablement, within Prudential Communications, the Manager, Communications Strategic Enablement will empower colleagues across the function through tools, processes and data that enhance communications impact. This role will be a consultant and coach, providing perspective on industry trends, supplying data-driven insights, and identifying innovative solutions to challenges for colleagues within Communications and across the broader enterprise. You will be the driver behind critical team capabilities including media monitoring and analysis, internal content analytics and issues monitoring, and internal polling/survey initiatives. Collaborating with colleagues across Strategic Enablement, the communications function and the wider company, you will help ensure accuracy and timeliness of insights, translate data into strategic actions, and ensure tools and technology are aligned to support enterprise goals. This role may also support proprietary research initiatives and other complex intelligence efforts to enhance the impact of communications. The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. What you can expect: Build and maintain relationships with strategists across Prudential Communications and the broader enterprise to understand strategic needs and deliver innovative solutions. data-driven insights that empower strategic decision-making. Enable and upskill communications partners, offering guidance on tools, processes and information that enhances impact and empowers strategic decision-making. Monitor the external communications environment to surface new insights and best practices that improve speed, efficacy and sophistication of the communications function. Support the Director(s), Strategic Enablement by: Leading efforts in gathering and compiling data on external media, social and internal communications, using a suite of tools and overseeing external vendors. Coaching colleagues on the use of self service analytics platforms to enhance communications impact. Continually assessing our communications technology and vendor landscape to ensure maximum value and ensure we are constantly leveling up to meet the needs of the function. Leveraging analytics and AI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Copilot and more to extract actionable insights from data. What you'll need: 5+ years of professional experience with a focus on communications or PR. Strong track record of leveraging data-based insights for strategic improvement and translating findings for non-technical audiences. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships at all levels. Self-starter with a solutions mindset and ability to work in a matrixed environment. Experience with communications measurement and comfort with data. Core Skills: Business Acumen: Applies knowledge of the organizational environment to manage resources and decisions. Proficiency with media monitoring and social listening tools (e.g. Meltwater, Cision, Brandwatch, Factiva, Signal AI, Spinklr, Quid) and Boolean logic. Exposure to AI tools/technology in a communications or PR environment Experience with analytics tools and technologies (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Python, SQL). The salary range for this role is from $114,500.00 to $188,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
