About the Role The Legal Contract Operations Manager is a high-bandwidth, meticulously organized individual, who can juggle process, project, and people management. On a typical day, you may work with Legal Data Engineering to create a new Sigma query, design an operational process based on a new compliance requirement, attend team meetings to review KPIs and legal order processing metrics, lead a project status meeting with counsel, create a kick-off deck for an upcoming cross-functional technology initiative, and generally ensure that the team’s daily operations adhere most efficiently to legal and regulatory standards. This position calls for a self-starter who can oscillate easily from strategic considerations to tactical execution and who will enjoy building a dynamic, fast-moving Legal Compliance Operations function. You will report to the Senior Manager of Legal Operations on our Legal Operations team in our Legal organization. This role will have the option to be 100% remote or hybrid at one of our office locations. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… • Work with the Senior Legal Operations Manager, Litigation, and Privacy counsel to shape the vision and direction of legal and state agency response processes at arenaflex. • Directly manage an internal team of 3 Legal Operations Analysts and 1 Team Lead in leading the Garnishments, Unemployment Insurance, Third Party Data Requests, and Legal Triage workflows. • Oversee arenaflex’s BPO Team; forming and maintaining strategic relationships, negotiating rates, reviewing invoices, conducting quarterly performance reviews. • Build, develop, and drive the adoption of new workflow automation and business intelligence technology. • Scale, innovate, and suggest improvements to existing legal compliance processes. • Partner across the Legal Data Engineering, Security and IT organizations to drive and execute midsize to large scale data and technology related projects. • Oversee internal daily operations and partner with vendors and outside counsel to prepare data in response to legal and state agency requests. • Take on increasingly complex projects and responsibilities as your experience grows We’re excited about you because… • You have a BA/BS degree in pre-law or business fields. • You have 8+ years of progressive legal industry experience in fast moving environments. • You have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a people management role, with a proven ability to lead and mentor teams effectively. • You possess extraordinary written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. • You represent the arenaflex brand with humility and a customer-first mindset. • You have experience in reading and responding to subpoenas, garnishments, liens or levies, and/or unemployment claims. • You have strong project management experience and previous success in meeting deadlines in scrappy environments. • You are proficient in and have an aptitude for technology, including but not limited to arenaflex Workplace, Slack, ​​MacOS, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat. • You have experience working in business intelligence tools like Mode, Sigma, and Tableau. • You thrive in a diverse environment, and you are committed to listening and learning from those who have different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. • You have experience working with alternative legal service providers and/or BPO Teams. • You have a natural interest in staying up to speed on industry trends, best practices, and the rules and regulations of Legal Operations. We expect this position to be filled by 2/2/26 Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
