The Market Research Department aims to observe, understand, analyze and interpret market dynamics in order to drive effective project incubations and successful token launches. As part of our growth, we are seeking a passionate Junior Market Research Analyst to join our team and work directly under the guidance of the Lead Market Researcher. As a Junior Market Research Analyst, you will play a vital role in critically analyzing research, identifying emerging narratives within the blockchain and crypto ecosystem, and contributing to the development of mid- and long-term actionable insights. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their expertise in cryptocurrency market trends, blockchain technology, and Web3 innovations. Key Responsibilities • Analyze research reports, whitepapers, and market data to extract meaningful insights. • Identify emerging trends, narratives, and patterns in the blockchain and cryptocurrency markets. • Collaborate in the creation of mid- and long-term strategies that guide project incubations and token launch plans. • Assist in tracking and maintaining a knowledge repository of industry reports revolving around both the broader market and particular nascent verticals. • Present findings and insights through well-structured reports and visual presentations. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of active and upcoming projects within the ecosystem. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related fields. • Minimum of 2 years of active participation in early-stage investment strategies is acceptable in lieu of relevant formal education. • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and tokenomics. In particular, strong understanding of fundamental DeFi aspects (Staking, Bonding, v2 and v3 LPs) and their potential implications. Required Skills • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights. • Familiarity with research tools and platforms like Messari, Glassnode, and Dune Analytics. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • A proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a dynamic team environment. • Experience in market research, data analysis, or strategy formulation. • Knowledge of DeFi protocols, NFT ecosystems, or layer-2 scaling solutions. • Previous experience working in the Web3 space or a related industry.
