The Opportunity HR Generalist / Talent Acquisition Full-time | Hybrid | Consulting Industry Are you a high-energy HR professional who loves connecting great people with great opportunities? We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition / HR Generalist to help shape the growth of our expanding consulting team. If you're passionate about building strong teams, optimizing processes, and pairing strategy with technology, this role is made for you. This position blends strategic recruiting (60%) with hands-on HR generalist work (40%)—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment and enjoys both the hunt for top talent and the satisfaction of seamless HR operations. What You’ll Do Talent Acquisition – 60% Drive full-cycle recruitment for specialized consulting roles—from food manufacturing to technology enablement and change management. Build robust pipelines of skilled professionals across critical disciplines. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to engage top passive talent. Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define needs and shape ideal candidate profiles. Manage candidate screening, interviews, and hiring workflows within Paychex Hiring. Monitor key metrics like time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience to continually refine results. Strengthen employer brand through outreach to universities, professional associations, and industry networks. HR Generalist – 40% Lead a seamless, tech-enabled onboarding experience through Paychex systems. Administer HRIS workflows across Hiring, Onboarding, Time Tracking, and Benefits modules. Ensure compliance across a 13-state footprint and support lifecycle activities such as offboarding. Leverage data and analytics from Paychex to inform strategy and drive process improvements. Contribute to broader HR projects, from process enhancements to employee experience initiatives. What You Bring 5–10 years of progressive experience across talent acquisition and HR generalist roles. Hands-on expertise with Paychex, especially the Hiring & Onboarding modules (required). Demonstrated success recruiting for professional services, consulting, or technical roles. A track record of innovation—using technology to streamline and improve hiring and HR processes. Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills. Comfort operating independently in a remote, fast-paced work environment. Working knowledge of multi-state employment compliance. Bonus Points For Experience recruiting in management consulting, professional services, or technical consulting. Familiarity with food manufacturing, supply chain, or operations consulting talent markets. PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification. Advanced Paychex module expertise (Benefits, Time & Attendance, Human Resources). Background in HR process improvement or change management.
