Role Description The chaplain endorser functions as FCI leadership team member and oversees the team of Specialized chaplains. • Oversee and shepherd all Specialized chaplains and their divisional chaplaincy coordinators • Provide all endorsement letters and recommendations for Specialized chaplains seeking endorsement for ministry positions within their agencies • Monitor ministry growth and personal development of Specialized chaplains • Lead the team of appointed Specialized chaplaincy coordinators to provide general technical support and pastoral care • Supervisory input in regard to future chaplaincy divisions • Develop and implement a communications strategy for the Specialized chaplains utilizing phone, digital communications or on-site visits with chaplains • Host district and regional chaplain gatherings • Lead Chaplain Conference break-out meetings with Specialized chaplains • Send periodic divisional email newsletters • Assist in the updates of the Specialized chaplains in the FCI and Hub databases • Functions as events coordinator for Annual Chaplains Training • Plan, coordinate, schedule chaplains for chaplains booth at Foursquare Connection • Endorser liaison between the Foursquare Church and the Specialized chaplains • Liaison with chaplain certifying agencies (e.g., COMISS) and local agencies, when applicable • Participate with the FCI leadership team in visioning and implementation of growth and development strategies • Provides technical expertise for the Specialized chaplaincy field/issues/personnel • Send birthday and anniversary cards to all Specialized chaplains, as well as encouragement, sympathy and get well cards if appropriate • Other duties and projects as assigned by team leader Qualifications • Demonstrates humility and a growth mindset with an attitude of servant-leadership; placing serving over being served and collaboration over individualization • A commitment to The Foursquare “one-team” growth culture • An ordained minister in good standing with the Foursquare Church with experience as a chaplain in related fields • Demonstrate a pastoral heart for institutional/industrial chaplains that is humble, ethical, Christ-centered, and Holy Spirit led • At least 5 years of chaplain and ministry experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clear communicator • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Organized, self-starter with a positive attitude • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, create timelines and meet project deadlines; attention to detail • Adaptable and able to learn quickly • Experienced with Office 365 Requirements • Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time • Exhibit manual dexterity of fingers, hands and wrists • See and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids • Hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the phone • Have the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions • Physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds Location Remote Employment Type Part-Time E (12 hours Mon-Thurs) Apply tot his job
