Job Overview As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for communicating with borrowers regarding federal student loan programs. This hybrid role involves receiving inbound calls, making outbound calls, and providing top-notch customer service to resolve customer inquiries, take loan payments, and offer repayment options. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming borrower calls, chats, and make outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive customer experience. Counsel and inform borrowers about their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility, while taking payments and updating their accounts efficiently. Locate needed information quickly and minimize hold times to ensure seamless interactions with borrowers. Maintain the security and privacy of borrower information to protect both the borrower and our partners. Work an 8-hour shift with a one-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks, adhering to our scheduling requirements. Demonstrate strong computer skills and ability to multitask, including typing while talking. Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; some college or a bachelor's degree is preferred. Ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment. Must be able to obtain a Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check. Residence in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area is required. Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills are essential. Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord is necessary. A dedicated, quiet workspace at home with minimal distractions is required.
