The incumbent is responsible to manage and oversee the sales operations in the Water Solutions & Services (WSS) segment in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and execute strategic plans that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.</li><li>Develop and manage strategic partnership with key distributors and customers.</li><li>Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.</li><li>Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.</li><li>Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.</li><li>Oversees the brand strategy for the region/segment and coaches marketing and product managers on brand development.</li><li>Drives and is accountable for the overall profitability (P&L) of the segment.</li><li>Delivers effective sales and marketing presentations and education tailored to the segment(s) and coaches the team on how to do the same.</li><li>Ensures sales, marketing and service coverage is in place for the segment(s) considering regional manufacturing considerations, and anticipates the impact of changes in coverage, which results in well understood and timely support for new products/service lines in each market/segment.</li><li>Ensures marketing materials, technical documentation, and pricing is correct and appropriate for the segment selling strategy.</li><li>Use market and competitor analyses to determine appropriate pricing, discounting, supply chain and distribution model(s).</li><li>Proactively finds new and novel ways to solve customer, technical or organizational issues, and/or gain new or better customer or competitive information; brings energy to address business and market challenges, obstacles or setbacks, and perseveres under pressure to get positive results.</li><li>Develops and maintains positive working relationships within own team and across other groups to create effective solutions for customers and partners, proactively communicating and assisting as necessary to meet customer, partners and internal group needs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>8–12 years of experience in senior sales or commercial leadership roles.</li><li>Proven success managing large sales teams and high-value targets.</li><li>Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.</li><li>Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analysis.</li><li>Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.</li><li>Deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.</li><li>Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.</li><li>Proven leadership and ability to drive and develop sales teams.</li><li>Have experience in dealing with clients at multiple levels within the client’s organization.</li><li>Have experience in multinational organization.</li><li>Experience in Water Treatment in Industrial sectors (e.g. micro-electronics, food and beverage, Pharmaceutical.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills And Competencies<br><br></strong><ul><li>Business Acumen</li><li>Conflict Management</li><li>Drive for results</li><li>Strategic Agility</li><li>Timely Decision Making</li><li>Customer Focus</li><li>Developing Direct Reports and Others</li><li>Continuous Improvement Mindset<br><br></li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
