About the Position In this role, you will be responsible for... Technical Lead / Project Management: • Lead software and hardware upgrade projects, keeping the manager updated on progress and challenges. • Provide clear recommendations and guidance to leadership on technical and project-related matters. Data Operations Support & Development: • Design, build, and automate ELT/ETL pipelines using Spark, arenaflex Lake, and Databricks Workflows. • Ensure data accuracy and reliability through validation tools like arenaflex Live Tables, expectations frameworks, and automated testing. • Support the implementation and maintenance of data systems and interfaces across cloud and on-prem environments. • Administer and optimize the Databricks workspace, including clusters, jobs, access, and performance. • Maintain secure, compliant data governance through Unity Catalog management, lineage oversight, and policy adherence. • Develop and maintain data models and documentation using tools such as PySpark, Python, MS SQL, Power Shell, Azure Dev Ops, Purview, and related Azure services—while providing 24/7 on-call support when required. Partnerships / Customer Service / Consulting: • Deliver training and guidance to customers and IT staff on systems, tools, and processes. • Build strong relationships by staying informed about customer operations, needs, and priorities through meetings and ongoing communication. Professional Development: • Participate in training, workshops, and classes to strengthen technical, communication, and leadership skills. • Stay current on industry advancements and tools through user groups, continued education, and self-directed learning. About the Schedule Work Hours: • Full-time, 40 hours per week. • Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. • The role also includes participation in 24/7/365 on-call technical support.
