General Cleaner Hourly Non-Exempt

Reports to: Team Leader/Area Supervisor/Area Team Leader

Summary of Job Duties & Responsibilities: Performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors.

Typical tasks performed include a combination of the following:

Sanitizing restrooms, empties trash, sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, and vacuum cleans and spot cleans carpets. Dusts and spot clean walls and polish all stainless steel i.e. water fountains fixtures. Dust blinds. Dust cabinets, furniture, partitions and desk tops. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, walls, upholstery and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. May also sweep walk ways. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

1. Set up carts & brut barrels; reline brut barrels with small &large liners.

2. Pull trash from offices change liners, wipe desk tops as you pull your trash

3. Vacuum all offices and close doors after areas are done (able to lift 45 lbs)

4. Detail section each night

5. Restroom cleaning

6. Set cart-up replenish supplies

7. Replenish, toilet tissue

8. Empty trash (including sanitary boxes)

9. Toilet, urinals, sinks, clean thoroughly

10. Clean all walls by wiping

11. Wipe clean all stainless steel

12. Sweep floor under toilets urinals

13. Wet mop floor

14. Use air freshener

15. Restock cart for next day

16. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

17. Must be able to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner.

18. Must be able to follow directions

19. Must be reliable and responsible.

20. Must be able to mix solutions correctly

21. Must be able to report to work on time and work scheduled shift.

22. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
