Corporate Governance Manager

About the position International Data Corporation (IDC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Governance Manager to support our Research & Data organization by developing, implementing and monitoring an organization's governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant Research and Data business rules, design and delivery standards, and promoting best practice in corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing governance frameworks, facilitating and managing governance bodies, and stakeholder management. This position reports to the VP of Transformation. This position will be a remote role with a preferred location in the Eastern time zone. Responsibilities • Developing and maintaining governance policies, standards and procedures • Implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of the governance framework • Providing guidance and training on governance matters to staff and leaders • Ensuring compliance with relevant Research and Data business rules, design and delivery standards • Identifying and assessing governance-related risks • Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies • Providing support to the various committees • Assisting in the preparation of committee meetings and deliverables • Facilitation governance committee meetings • Driving and monitoring the implementation of committee decisions • Engaging with stakeholders on governance matters • Promoting transparency and accountability • Managing relationships with governance bodies and stakeholders Requirements • 3-5 years of relevant technical experience • A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICSA, or a qualification in risk management or compliance) • Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices • Experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nice-to-haves • Relevant technology market intelligence and data industry experience preferred Benefits • 15 vacation days (prorated based on start date) • 12 company-paid holidays • 6 paid sick days (prorated based on start date; may vary by state) • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • 2 floating holidays (prorated based on start date) • 1 volunteer day • 401(k) company match (IDC matches 3% on the first 6% of employee contributions) • Company-paid short-term disability • Company-paid parental leave Apply tot his job
