About the job We are looking for a Commercial Contracts Administrator to join our Commercial Legal Strategy & Operations function, supporting the Go-To-Market (GTM) sales and partners organization and Telecom Carrier Relations organization. In this role, you be a member of our Center of Excellence function, which currently consists of three Contracts professionals. The Center of Excellence serves as the first legal point of contact for all incoming GTM and Telecom Carrier Relations commercial legal support requests. You will also directly support Twilio’s Commercial Legal team by reviewing and vetting requests for legal support on all commercial contracts-related matters, negotiating NDAs, and drafting order forms. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: • Serve as a first point of contact to provide commercial contracts-related education and process guidance to your GTM and Telecom Carrier Relations colleagues • Review, vet, and provide timely responses to a high volume of incoming requests for legal support on general inquiries, agreement negotiation requests, and completion of miscellaneous documents (e.g., RFPs, vendor forms, customer questionnaires), while ensuring adherence to contract processes and policies • Independently negotiate NDAs on Twilio’s template and counterparty’s template • Draft non-standard contractual terms and language from scratch into order forms • Be an operational expert on Twilio’s GTM-facing and telecom carrier-facing contracting processes • Contribute to your knowledge and learnings from novel situations to the Center of Excellence Playbook • Provide support on a variety of ad-hoc operational projects and tasks Qualifications Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Required • A bachelor’s degree • 3+ years of experience as a Contracts Coordinator, Contracts Administrator, or Contracts Paralegal, which includes exposure drafting and negotiating NDAs and order forms • Experience using commercial contracting tools, including Salesforce, Conga, arenaflex Office Suite, arenaflex Suite, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong attention to detail with a customer-first attitude • Be a process-minded and oriented professional • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with minimal supervision Desired • Experience supporting a sales organization at a high growth technology company • Experience creating and managing process documentation and policies • Good sense of humor, disdain for drama, interest for learning new things, and desire to get things done Location This role can be located remotely and can be anywhere in the United States. Approximately 10% of travel is expected. The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: • Based in Colorado: $69,600 - $87,000. • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $73,760 - $92,200. • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $81,920 - $102,400. • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
