Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those with special needs or chronic conditions.

Duties

· Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities.
  • Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.

Skills

· Experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred.

  • Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to assist with meal preparation and basic cooking skills.
  • Familiarity with CPR procedures is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
