The Role: We are looking for a seasoned Blockchain Architect to join our technology leadership team. This role goes beyond engineering and requires visionary architecture design, deep expertise in blockchain Layer 1 & 2 protocols, AI/ML methods, and extensive software development experience. The Blockchain Architect will lead the end-to-end architecture of our blockchain platform and guide its interaction with advanced AI models & workloads, ensuring scalability, performance, and security at every level. Responsibilities: • Architect, design, and guide the implementation of Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain protocols tailored for AI-driven workloads. • Define the technical roadmap and ensure architectural alignment with business objectives. • Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and architectural blueprints. • Mentor and support engineering teams in building EVM-compatible and non-EVM blockchain platforms. • Ensure enterprise-grade security, scalability, and fault tolerance across blockchain and AI pipelines. • Mentor and guide development teams on blockchain best practices, patterns, and standards. • Conduct code reviews and architecture reviews to ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability. • Stay current with emerging blockchain technologies, standards, and implementation practices to ensure long-term platform relevance. Basic Qualifications: We are seeking an expert-level professional with 8+ years of software development experience and 5+ years of blockchain architecture and engineering with the following background: • Proven experience in designing and architecting Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols, with strong contributions to blockchain projects. • Mastery of programming in Golang, Rust, and/or C++ for low-level protocol development. • In-depth understanding of blockchain fundamentals (consensus algorithms, peer-to-peer networking, node operation, state management). • Strong knowledge of cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and secure protocol design. • Extensive experience with EVM-compatible blockchains, including writing, auditing, and deploying smart contracts. • Extensive hands-on experience of non-EVM chains such as Solana and Cosmos. • Hands-on experience with decentralized storage (IPFS), oracle services, and cross-chain bridges. • Expertise in algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and back-end development. • Strong exposure to AI/ML frameworks, deep learning, or large language models (LLMs) and their integration with blockchain execution environments. • Familiarity with Node.js and Python for building supporting services. • Strong background in arenaflex/CD pipelines, DevOps, and containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes). • Demonstrated ability to design for scalability and performance in production-grade blockchain environments. Educational Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from a reputable institution. • Additional certifications or research contributions in blockchain, distributed systems, or AI will be considered a strong advantage.
